Vintage Disney was Amanda Visell's wild obsession throughout her childhood. cartoons from the time of the war called the Mousketeers. She was intrigued by the sizable community of independent artists and their overarching message of equality while spending her adolescence in the Pacific Northwest during the riot grrl music movement. She finally rose to fame as a stop motion designer and sculptor. She has collaborated with companies like Kidrobot and Disneyland USA while also exhibiting her work, giving talks, and conducting workshops at galleries and museums across the world. She established Switcheroo, her own design company, in 2007.
